BSU Student Receives Prestigious Urban Land Institute Scholarship

Michael Celt, a student in the Community and Regional Planning Graduate Certificate program is one of two students to win an Idaho District Urban Land Institute scholarship of $1,500 for the 2008-2009 academic year. The ULI scholarship is open to students in Idaho and Montana studying at the college level in fields related to land use.

The Urban Land Institute, founded in 1936, has more than 40,000 members worldwide representing the entire spectrum of land use and real estate development disciplines, working in private enterprise and public service. The mission of the Urban Land Institute is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide.

Boise State University Assistant Professor Susan Mason serves on the ULI District Council Board, and can be contact in the department of Public Policy and Administration.
