History Department’s Jill Gill to Speak at City Club
Jill Gill, associate professor of history at Boise State University, will talk about a contemporary and historical look at the shift between religion and politics during the City Club of Boise forum from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at the Grove Hotel in Boise.
Gill specializes in 20th century American socio-cultural, political and religious history, with a research focus on the 1960s. She is writing a book on the National Council of Churches’ response to the Vietnam War.
Cost for the forum and lunch is $16 for members; $21 for nonmembers; and $10 for students. Cost to listen to the lecture without lunch is $5.
