History Professor Lisa Brady Presents “Between Fences” Exhibit
Boise State history professor Lisa Brady will be in Coeur D’ Alene Thursday to present a lecture at the CDA Library. The release from the CDA Library blog provides details:
Boise State University professor Dr. Lisa Brady, the state scholar for “Between Fences” exhibits in Idaho, will present a multimedia program at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library, 702 E. Front Ave., Thursday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m.
“Between Fences” is a traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian Institution on display at the library through Dec. 20. The exhibit deals with the history of fence building in the United States and the issues of property ownership and land use.
Brady’s program, “Don’t Fence Me In,” will be in the library’s Community Room on the lower level. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Coeur d’Alene Public Library. Participants are encouraged to use the lower-level parking on the west side of City Hall.
