Public Policy Center Launches “Spotlight on Policy” Podcast Series

Boise State University’s Public Policy Center has launched a new podcast entitled “Spotlight on Policy.” The podcasts, which will be posted on Boise State’s channel on iTunes U, highlight topical policy issues and present background, context and data from the Public Policy Center’s applied research on the topics.

“We think our center’s focus on timely, topical policy issues will make this series a valuable tool for people interested in what’s happening in public policy today,” said Stephanie Witt, director of Public Policy Center. “By using iTunes U, we can be flexible in the ways we tell people about work here at the Public Policy Center and reach new audiences. We’re excited about the potential.”

Each episode is about five minutes long and features a Boise State faculty, staff or resident expert. Three episodes of the new series have been posted:

Educational Attainment in Idaho with Greg Hill, Assistant Professor of public policy and administration at Boise State.

• Idaho’s Legislature with Gary Moncrief, professor of public policy and administration at Boise State.
• Wolves in Idaho with John Freemuth, professor of public policy and administration at Boise State and senior sellow at the Andrus Center for Public Policy.
